The Pembrokeshire coast has fantastic sunsets

Poppit Sands is situated in Pembrokeshire. It is a large popular sandy beach, which during the summer holiday season has life guard cover. It prides itself on cleanliness and is considered a safe swimming beach and has been awarded the blue flag for the ecological condition of the area. The beach welcomes dogs although at high season, half of the beach is dog exempt. (Don'tworry, there is still a large area of beach for you to exercise your dog!) Within walking distance is a cafe and shop.

Within the Pembrokeshire - Ceredigion area there is a vast selection of activities to be undertaken. Within close proximity there is a great variety of walks to suit all abilities both coastal and inland. The Pembrokeshire coastal path starts at the chalet. Within 1 mile of the cottage is a slipway into the river Teifi which is tidal and suitable for sailing dingies or other small craft. On the opposite bank is the Cardigan Boat club. There are some good surfing spots within the area too.

The holiday cottage has all required amenities within a 2 mile radius, including a pub that serves good food less than half a mile away. The local village of St Dogmaels is 1 1/2 miles down the lane where you will find shops, post office, restaurant and chapel. Cardigan is only two miles away with amenities including supermarkets, cinema, pubs, restaurants, shops, laundrette and a bowling green.
